#stepintohappy with Zumba
I’m a true believer in the power of physical activity to help improve a person’s physical, mental, social and emotional health. More specifically women. Dancing and getting a sweat on in a fun, welcoming and social environment while learning something new and shaking everything without judgement can do wonders for a woman’s mental health. It is also a brilliant way to increase cardio and muscle tone without putting pressure on injured/aging joints or prenatal/postnatal core. I want to help other women feel good about themselves through Zumba fitness.

Sam is super friendly and always checking if everyone is ok/happy. The routines are so much fun and changed every few weeks so no one gets bored. Everyone in the class are very friendly and the classes are not too big so it feels inviting. I would highly rate Sam and her classes.
Having not done zumba for a long time I was excited and nervous to start a new class. I shouldn’t have worried. Sam’s classes are brilliant for all abilities. Great fun with a brilliant instructor and a fantastic workout too. The most fun you can have while working out!
Samantha Lawrence
Zumba Intructor
Hello! I'm Samantha Lawrence, and I live in Truro, Cornwall. I've been a ZIN™ Member since July 2021 but have been taking part in Zumba classes since 2008 and I absolutely love them. But they really became important to me after the birth of my son. I had my son during the pandemic and suffered from postnatal PTSD, depression and anxiety plus ab separation. Physically and mentally I was broken. I started Zumba classes again and I slowly started to feel better. I found myself; and a new tribe. I left every class feeling better than when I stepped in, I made new friends, felt more confident and always had a laugh. I started teaching because I want more people to feel this way, especially my fellow mums.
Life happens; Zumba helps - physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
